Formally known as “Women’s Wellness” and “Tinderbox Fitness”

Tinderbox officially closed its doors in March 2020 during the height of the Pandemic and closures. In April 2020 Tinderbox underwent new ownership by Amalia N. During the pandemic since April 2020 our mission has been “Saving Tinderbox”. We would like to share our gratitude to our members, community, instructors, staff, and media for their support of our efforts. We have been featured, in Winston Salem Journal, Spectrum News, and WXii News 12.

August 2023 we changed names to 690 Women’s Fitness under the same ownership, we want to make an impact in our community by providing women a friendly, supportive and comfortable environment. Besides the women-only atmosphere.

We primarily focus on providing Group Fitness Classes, but we offer personal training services, cardio-strengthening equipment, and more.

We thrive on providing women in the community with a non-intimidating, non-judgemental atmosphere and a well-trained staff to provide you with the best fitness experience possible. We have something for EveryBODY and every fitness level.
